  • 12 strands black licorice (8 inches each)
  • 24 candy eyes
  • 1 tablespoon chocolate frosting or melted chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Cut each licorice strand into 8 equal pieces (about 1 inch long) for spider legs.
  2. Twist open each Oreo cookie, separating the wafers and exposing the cream filling.
  3. On one half of the cookie, insert 4 licorice leg pieces on each side.
  4. Press the other wafer back on top to secure the legs.
  5. Add a small dot of chocolate frosting or melted chocolate on each candy eye and attach two eyes to each cookie.
  6. Allow the chocolate to set for a few minutes before serving.
