Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Cut in cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Stir in orange zest and cranberries.
  5. In another bowl, whisk together heavy cream and egg; add to dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  6. Turn dough onto a floured surface and gently knead into an 8-inch round disc, about 1 inch thick.
  7. Cut into 8 wedges and transfer to the baking sheet, spacing them apart.
