Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and salt.
- In another bowl, mix granulated sugar, brown sugar, vegetable oil, eggs, pumpkin puree, and vanilla until combined.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry mixture and stir gently until just combined; do not overmix.
- Fold in 1 cup of chocolate chips.
- Transfer the batter to the prepared loaf pan and sprinkle with the remaining 1/2 cup of chocolate chips on top.
- Bake for 55 to 65 minutes or until a skewer inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
