- 4 ounces cream cheese

Instructions
- Combine warm milk, yeast, and 1 teaspoon sugar in a bowl; let sit until foamy (5-10 minutes).
- Mix in remaining sugar, melted butter, egg, and salt.
- Gradually add flour until a shaggy dough forms; knead until smooth (5-7 minutes).
- Place dough in an oiled bowl, cover, and let rise until doubled (1 to 1 1/2 hours).
- Roll out dough into a rectangle (12×18 inches). Spread apple butter mixed with cinnamon on top.
- Roll dough tightly from one long edge and slice into 12 pieces.
- Arrange slices in a greased baking dish; let rise again (30-45 minutes).
